Job summary

Raymond West is hiring a Dock and Door Technician to join our service team. You will repair all types of Dock and Door equipment, communicate with customers, and maintain profitable service operations, including coordinating overtime and following safety guidelines.

The role requires field-based work with daily travel within assigned territories, a valid driver’s license, and ongoing training to keep up with Raymond certification levels.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must maintain good working relationships across departments.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of Dock and Door equipment you service and sell.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Explain options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work vehicle and work area.
• Travel within assigned territories with company vehicle and fuel card.
