Job summary

Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead and develop district sales teams across Minneapolis and surrounding markets. You will provide clinical knowledge of Amgen medicines to healthcare professionals and collaborate with district, regional, and corporate teams to deliver on sales targets and strategic objectives.

Qualifications include 2+ years of managerial experience and 3+ years in sales/marketing, with preference for biologics exposure.

Qualifications

• Doctorate/masters/bachelor degrees in Sales/Marketing or related field
• 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people
• 3+ years of specialty sales experience
• Experience in biologics is preferred
• Ability to communicate clinical concepts to customers clearly

Responsibilities

• Lead district sales teams to meet or exceed sales and budget targets
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, other BUs)
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve objectives
• Manage district resources and programs with tracking of progress
