Job summary

Riverstone Logistics in Slidell, LA is seeking a District Operations Manager to oversee outbound logistics for multiple client locations. You will maintain delivery capacity, perform operational analyses, and lead a team of Territory Managers in your region.

You will drive client satisfaction by enforcing policies, training Extra Milers, and coordinating with motor carriers while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in distribution or supply chain operations; at least 2 years in management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation to commute and attend client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed client service goals consistently.
• Lead on onboarding and training of Extra Milers at location.
• Oversee daily outbound operations across client locations while ensuring compliance.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient, safe operations.
• Manage weekly operator settlements and performance metrics.
• Supervise staff, allocate work, coach, and resolve issues.
