Job summary

Zenith American Solutions seeks a Regional Director, Retirement Benefits to lead the operations for the retirement benefits practice across the assigned region, ensuring alignment with company guidelines, client needs and ERISA requirements.

You will mentor managers, collaborate with client services, manage budgets, report metrics, and represent the function at board meetings and client presentations. Travel and remote work flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and 7 years of experience working in retirement benefits.
• Thorough knowledge of defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401(k) plans and benefits administration systems.
• Thorough understanding of ERISA compliance or regulatory procedures.
• Proven ability to recruit, lead and motivate a successful management team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily leadership and direction to Retirement Benefits management team.
• Represents the Retirement Benefits Operations organization in regional initiatives.
• Develops management staff through performance management and training.
• Oversees daily operations to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Implements policies and procedures for efficient operations.
• Manages expenses to stay within budget.
• Partners with Client Services to resolve issues and onboarding of new clients.
• Provides regular reporting on operational metrics.
