Job summary

Gardant seeks a seasoned Community Executive Director in Indiana to lead multiple senior living communities, setting goals with ownership and the Executive Director. You will help develop and implement organizational, financial, and marketing plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise budgeting and performance reviews.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director, conduct staff development, participate in hiring, monitor quality and safety programs, and travel as needed to provide

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Must have current HFA or RCA licensure.
• 5 years healthcare experience required with multi-site management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of state, federal and local regulations.
• Valid driver's license with record in good standing per insurance vendor.

Responsibilities

• Provides general oversight and guidance to Community Executive Director.
• Establishes, with the Executive Director, the Community’s goals and objectives.
• Assists in developing and implementing organizational, financial, marketing plans, policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with the Executive Director in preparing and controlling annual budget.
• Reviews regulatory adherence and approved operating procedures.
• Reviews insurance coverage and provides recommendations.
• Acts as on-call resource to Communities and Gardant on a 24-hour basis.
• Reviews accounts receivable activities and billing processes.
• Conducts formal performance evaluations at the end of the introductory period and annually.
• Participates in staff development activities and department manager interviews.
• Monitors Quality Improvement and safety programs.
• Provides onsite day-to-day support in absence of an Executive Director.
• Completes quarterly on-site visits and reports KPI status to ownership.
• Evaluates overall operations including daily standups, rent readiness, finance & revenue accounting and TELS compliance.
• Meets with ownership representatives on ongoing performance discussions.
