Job summary

Resource Innovations seeks a Director of Business Development to lead growth across New England and New York for DSM, EE, DR, and related programs. You will build and close complex deals with electric and gas utilities, align with regulatory and delivery teams, and expand RI’s market footprint in a dynamic energy landscape.

You will rely on established utility relationships, strategic vision, and hands-on execution to advance RI’s mission and drive revenue while collaborating with internal

Qualifications

8+ years of experience working with and selling to Electric and gas utilities.
Experience selling DSM programs and/or renewables to utilities.
Established mid- & senior-level relationships with utilities in the Northeast.
Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Secure new revenue with Electric and Gas utilities in the New England and New York regions.
Achieve annual sales quota goals and drive revenue growth.
Develop and implement integrated BD and sales strategies and account plans.
Lead proposal development with insight on market drivers and pricing.
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and smooth handoffs.
