Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth across New England and New York, with a focus on DSM programs and energy solutions. The role demands strategic vision, a track record of closing complex utility deals, and strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams.

You will drive revenue growth, manage key utility accounts, and work with leadership to tailor offerings for utility customers while expanding RI’s footprint in a rapidly evolving energy

Qualifications

8+ years of experience selling to electric and gas utilities.
Proven mid- to senior-level relationships with Northeast utilities.
Knowledge of state regulatory cycles for DSM programs (EE/DR/TE/EV).
Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

Secure new revenue with electric and gas utilities in New England and New York.
Achieve annual sales quota and drive revenue growth.
Develop and implement regional business development and sales strategies.
Collaborate with delivery and operations to ensure client satisfaction and success.
Lead proposal development with guidance on strategy and pricing.
Represent Resource Innovations to clients and partners across the region.
