Job summary

NetApp is seeking a Director of Enterprise Solutions Engineering to lead our Mid West Sales Region. This is a second line leadership role where you will manage several SE Managers whose teams are responsible for driving technical strategy, customer engagement, field execution, and business growth across one of NetApp’s highest-performing Enterprise regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solutions engineering or related leadership roles within the technology industry.
• 5+ years leading managers within a Solutions Engineering, pre-sales, or technical sales organization.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence customers, partners, and senior internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineering Managers supporting NetApp’s Enterprise Sales organization across the Midwest region.
• Partner with Enterprise Sales leadership to define regional strategy, drive execution, and accelerate business growth across strategic enterprise accounts.
• Develop leaders who build consultative, value-driven Solutions Engineering teams that translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Travel alongside Sales and Solutions Engineering leaders to support executive customer meetings, strategic account planning, and complex enterprise opportunities.
• Foster trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders while strengthening NetApp’s position as a strategic technology advisor.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Channel, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to execute regional and corporate priorities.
