Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Director of Engineering – Data Centers to steer regional engineering strategy, operations and performance for state-of-the-art data center designs, including AI-focused facilities. You will influence strategic direction, oversee engineering teams, and partner with senior leadership to drive excellence across projects.

The role requires advanced engineering knowledge, substantial leadership experience, and the ability to develop proposals, manage budgets, and lead business

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of building systems electrical engineering.
• Advanced management skills, including planning, resource management, and staff development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaboration across levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversees regional engineering operation and maps staff skills to work.
• Recruit, train and deploy staff within their region.
• Owns HR and budget oversight for the regional engineering group.
• Develops proposals and secures work for the firm.
• Directs preliminary engineering activities and QA/QC at project close.
• Maintains external client relationships and supports business development.
• Reviews contract requirements and coordinates with operations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering, construction sciences, or related discipline
