Gaco is seeking a dynamic Area Manager for Decking, Waterproofing & Flooring products to drive growth in the commercial market. You will build relationships with contractors, architects, and building owners while executing strategic sales plans and achieving targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in roofing/waterproofing sales, excellent communication, and strong problem-solving abilities. Role requires substantial travel and on-site customer engagements to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or minimum 5 years of roofing/waterproofing material or commercial coatings sales experience.
• Proven track record in building business and increasing sales.
• Excellent communication skills with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to present information professionally to diverse customers and industry professionals.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Represent Gaco decking, waterproofing & flooring products to architects, engineers, building owners, distributors and contractors.
• Develop and manage sales process, build relationships, respond to customer needs, and close sales.
• Generate and follow up on new customer leads and document all contacts.
• Develop and execute territory business and marketing plans.
• Meet or exceed annual sales and gross profit targets.
• Travel frequently to represent the company and conduct on-site training.
• Present at local and regional trade shows and events.
• Manage territory sales budget and stay informed about competitive products.
