Job summary

Trane is seeking a Regional Data Center Project Administrator in Rocklin, CA to support multiple Data Center projects from sales handoff through closeout. You will coordinate procurement, invoicing, cost tracking, and project documentation while interacting with customers and project staff to ensure accurate billing and cost accounting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with up to five years of related experience.
• Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and proactive work approach.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with financial systems and basic accounting.
• Familiarity with HVAC operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standard work and processes across several enterprise systems.
• Administer projects through their life cycle to ensure contract compliance and successful delivery.
• Coordinate procurement: purchase orders and subcontracts with qualified vendors.
• Coordinate monthly customer invoicing and ensure accurate, timely billing.
• Record project costs, track time sheets, and manage project documentation.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and staff to support data center operations.
• Review billing backlog and resolve obstacles with PMs and teams.
