Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for Data Center Services to own profit and loss, safety, and compliant delivery across multiple branches within the region. You will lead site leaders, manage budgets, and drive operational performance to meet financial goals.

The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, budgeting, and customer relationship skills. Travel up to 50% and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7-10 years' relevant experience; knowledge of safety and environmental policies; P&L management experience; budgeting and financial management skills; able to lead multi-site environments; strong business acumen; customer relationship management skills; leadership and interpersonal skills; change management and negotiation skills; ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and accountability for performance, profitability, safety, and compliance of multiple locations.
• Oversees regional P&L including labor, materials, disposal, equipment, and SG&A costs.
• Monitors KPI, safety metrics, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial results; implements improvement plans.
• Leads Branch Managers and site leadership; handles staffing, succession planning, and performance development.
• Approves capital, purchasing, and expenditures; manages regional budgets and targets.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (RCRA, DOT, OSHA) across locations; coordinates with Safety and Compliance teams.
• Directs utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources to meet customer commitments.
• Oversees training and development for employees and managers; ensures certifications.
• Prepares reports, forecasts, and updates for senior leadership; analyzes trends and risks.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, and readiness for audits and inspections.
• Supports growth by maintaining key customer relationships and expanding services.
