Job summary

Guckenheimer is seeking a Regional Executive Chef to lead a diverse regional portfolio and partner with clients to translate culinary vision into chef-driven workplace dining experiences that engage guests and deliver measurable results.

You will provide hands-on leadership to chefs and culinary managers, build high performing teams, ensure standards, manage menus and compliance, drive new unit openings, and champion food safety and continuous improvement across the Bay Area portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regional culinary teams across multiple locations.
• Ability to align culinary programs with client business strategy.
• Proven focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (HACCP/NSF).
• Strong track record in building high-performing teams and leadership depth.
• Excellent collaboration with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional Director of Operations to align culinary vision with execution.
• Ensure adherence to Guckenheimer and client guidelines across locations.
• Oversee menu management systems for accuracy and data integrity.
• Drive compliance with Procurement Integrity Index and KPIs.
• Lead new unit openings with solid culinary foundations and readiness.
• Support sales and client retention with chef-driven programs.
• Facilitate culinary leadership meetings and regional training.
• Champion regional culinary training to elevate skills and creativity.
• Lead on-floor presence, inspiring teams and protecting culinary integrity.
• Embed food safety, allergen control, and HACCP/NSF compliance in daily ops.
