Gowan Company, based in Illinois, seeks a Territory Sales Representative to drive sales, manage key customers and distributors, and promote crop protection products across the region. You will forecast, plan field activities, and advocate for regional needs to support growth.

The role requires extensive field and sales experience in crop protection, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while supporting company objectives in a cooperative team environment.

Competenze

Minimum of 3 years of field and sales experience in the crop protection industry.
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and crop protection products in the assigned region.
Excellent written and verbal communication, translating scientific information for non-technical clients.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships with customers, distributors, and key influencers in agriculture.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Team-oriented with commitment to supporting sales objectives and regional presence.

Mansioni

P&L responsibility: achieve sales budgets and manage sales expenses.
Manage forecasting, supply, and performance inquiries within the territory.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and influencers.
Develop champions within distribution networks and engage growers and commodity groups.
Advocate for the territory by aligning resources with regional needs and pursuing product opportunities.
Develop 2–3 year business plans and propose field trials to explore opportunities.
Promote brand and provide market insights to inform strategy.
