Job summary

JLL is seeking a Critical Environment Regional Engineering Manager to lead mission-critical engineering operations for a regional portfolio of facilities in New York. You will drive uptime, reliability, and client satisfaction across data centers, ensuring safety and compliance while guiding engineering teams.

You will oversee maintenance programs, capacity planning, and change control, coordinating with vendors and clients to deliver resilient environments 24/7/365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mission-critical engineering or data centers.
• 3+ years of leadership overseeing engineering teams in 24/7 operations.
• Experience with UPS, emergency power, cooling, electrical distribution, fire suppression, and BMS.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Corrigo), DCIM, and change management tools including ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional critical environment engineering operations across multiple mission-critical facilities, ensuring uptime and adherence to performance standards.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to Chief Engineers and site teams while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, preventive/predictive maintenance, and readiness for critical systems (UPS, generators, cooling, electrical, BMS).
• Act as senior escalation point during incidents, coordinating rapid response, RCAs, and client communications.
• Manage change management processes and review of MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and ServiceNow changes.
• Conduct regional site inspections, audits, redundancy validation, and compliance reviews to ensure standards.
