Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Critical Environments operations across a dispersed portfolio. You will drive performance for facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety systems while aligning with client programs and safety standards.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and transparent communication with stakeholders to optimize operations and reduce costs. Experience in building automation and data centers is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management with emphasis on operations.
• 5–7 years of industry experience in corporate, third-party, or consulting roles.
• Ability to manage vendor contracts, ensure compliance, and meet SLAs.
• Experience working with employee relations and UAW/ leadership dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for efficient operations and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety systems.
• Maintain client satisfaction and strong client relationships for facility services.
• Manage contracts and vendor compliance; monitor KPIs and SLAs; plan corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Client to ensure portfolio oversight is maintained on schedule.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual on-site inspections and safety practices.
