Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Critical Environment Regional Engineering Manager to lead mission-critical operations across a regional portfolio, delivering uptime, reliability, and compliant services for WellsFargo facilities. You will guide engineering teams, oversee UPS, generators, cooling, electrical distribution, and building automation, and influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in mission-critical engineering operations and data centers.
• 3+ years of leadership overseeing 24/7 operations.
• Experience with UPS, emergency power, precise cooling, electrical distribution, and BMS.
• Knowledge of maintenance programs, redundancy and change-management procedures.
• Familiarity with Corrigo, DCIM, ServiceNow and related tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and support after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional critical environment engineering operations across multiple facilities to ensure uptime and standard alignment.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Chief Engineers and site leaders.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, preventive and predictive programs, and readiness of critical systems.
• Act as senior escalation point during incidents, coordinating response and client communications.
• Manage change-management reviews of MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and ServiceNow requests.
• Conduct regional site inspections, audits, and redundancy validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients on operational initiatives.
• Monitor uptime, MTBF, MTTR, PUE, and thermal metrics to drive optimization.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support after-hours emergencies and region-wide incident response.
