Job summary

JLL is seeking a facilities engineering operations leader for the Northeast region, including New England. Based in New York on-site, you will lead ongoing facility activities, oversee vendors, and ensure safety-first culture and reliable engineering infrastructure.

You will manage multiple union workforces, coordinate labor across sites, and work with clients and third-party partners to optimize service delivery, with regular travel within the Northeast.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in MEP, skilled trades, or engineering operations.
• Experience coordinating multiple union workforces across multi-site environments.
• Experience with CMMS/work order platforms.
• Strong proficiency in HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical processes and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safety-first culture and oversee training.
• Oversee implementation of initiatives by managing property teams, vendors, contractors, facility employees, and union labor.
• Maintain interface with third-party vendors for contract compliance, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Develop and review SOPs and EOPs with annual reviews.
• Interact with clients, JLL team members, suppliers, consultants, union representatives, and vendors on facilities matters.
• Oversee projects and initiatives to improve facilities operations and service delivery.
• Ensure resources are allocated appropriately and work orders are completed timely.
• Plan and oversee maintenance shutdowns with site personnel, vendors, and union labor.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to determine service requirements and improvement projects.
• Support operations across multiple sites in the Northeast with regular travel.
