Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Credit Originations Manager – Regional Lead in Community Development Banking to lead a regional origination team through the full loan lifecycle.

You will evaluate opportunities, structure transactions, and drive credit approval and closing while partnering with executives and risk stakeholders. You will own the client experience, ensure underwriting quality, and develop talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial banking experience including credit structuring and loan documentation
• Experience in real estate lending with affordable/workforce housing focus preferred
• Ability to lead regional origination teams and coordinate with executives
• Strong communication and written skills
• Knowledge of credit risk concepts and end-to-end execution management
• Completion of a corporate/investment banking credit training program
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• BA/BBA degree (required)
• MBA (preferred)
• Experience with client coverage, credit stakeholders, and loan closing processes

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional team of Credit Originators with performance management and coverage planning
• Drive results using leadership principles and inclusive growth
• Evaluate new loan opportunities and guide structuring and decision-making
• Coach on structuring complex affordable/workforce housing loans
• Serve as escalation point for term sheet/LOI development and closing readiness
• Partner with Client Executives to align originations with client strategy
• Provide oversight on underwriting outputs and credit packages
• Ensure adherence to underwriting standards and policies
• Invest in talent development through mentoring and coaching junior staff
