Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience in accounting/finance.
• Ability to mentor senior staff and guide professional development.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Expert knowledge of Suffolk's accounting and project management platforms.
• Identifies need for improvement and leads department initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall A/R process and collections with project teams.
• Oversee cash position reporting and provide analysis to regional management.
• Supervise inter-company cash collections and AP distribution reporting.
• Review regional payments to subcontractors/vendors for accuracy.
• Ensure integrity of project financials and monthly P&L reviews.
• Guide contract and insurance compliance, federal reporting, and risk management.
