Compass Corporate in Long Island, NY is seeking a Regional Controller to manage monthly close, forecast, and budgets for assigned regions. The role requires leading a 4–5 person team, partnering with operations leadership to drive profitability, and ensuring strong internal controls and financial integrity.

You will oversee P&L and balance sheet review, provide insightful analysis across service lines, and support strategic initiatives while maintaining compliance and high standards of accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly P&L and balance sheet oversight, ensuring accuracy and policy adherence.
• Direct the review of general ledger and balance sheet accounts and reconcile issues.
• Oversee reconciliation/analysis of key ledger accounts, including cash and inventory.
• Ensure internal controls, risk identification, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive financial reporting, flash forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Partner with RVP/ops leadership to improve profitability and performance.
• Mentor a 4–5 person accounting team to high performance.
• Support new business assessments and contract obligations enforcement.
• Lead special projects aligned with regional priorities and strategic goals.
