Job summary

bioMérieux in Utah is seeking a Lead, Contracting Excellence to provide direct leadership and operational oversight for a regional team. You will manage daily performance, workload, and quality, while serving as the escalation point for complex transactions and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver a strong customer experience. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four (4) years of experience in contract administration, commercial operations, sales support, quoting, or pricing.
• Advanced knowledge of contract administration, quoting, pricing strategy, revenue recognition processes, and order-to-cash operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, make independent decisions, and resolve complex business issues.
• Experience managing performance through KPIs, metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and develop employees while driving accountability and results.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, coach, and develop approximately 4 to 6 employees.
• Manage daily team activities, priorities, workload distribution, coverage, and resource allocation.
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for accuracy, quality, responsiveness, compliance, and turnaround time.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development support to team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and participate in goal setting, development planning, recognition, and corrective-action processes.
• Lead onboarding and role-based training for new and existing team members.
• Build team capability by encouraging cross-training and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee regional quoting, contracting, order management, installation, invoicing, and revenue-recognition activities.
• Monitor CPQ and shared work queues; ensure alignment with service levels and SOPs.
• Review workload trends and adjust assignments to maintain coverage.
• Ensure quotations, agreements, amendments, customer PO's, pricing, and approvals are accurate.
• Oversee administration of negotiated agreements (local, national, corporate, GPO, IDN, government).
• Ensure contracts and customer/equipment data are accurately entered in systems.
• Monitor pricing, contracts renewals, and invoicing activities.
• Partner with Supply Chain to manage orders, availability, obsolescence, and shipments.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Serve as escalation point for complex quotes, contracts, pricing issues, and order-processing barriers.
• Provide oversight and quality control for the team's work and audits.
