Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Construction Procurement Manager to oversee OFCI equipment procurement across active data center projects. You will manage end-to-end processes from RFPs to delivery, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to achieve best value.

The role requires 2–5 years in a related field, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and travel up to 25%. Strong negotiation, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in related functions.
  • Preferred experience in data center, heavy industrial, or MEP-intensive construction.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Drive equipment submittals from inception to completion.
  • Manage electrical diagrams, mechanical riser diagrams and equipment specs for multiple projects.
  • Bid and procure mechanical and electrical equipment, including MV switchgear, transformers, chillers, CRAHs, CRACs, UPSs, PDUs, generators.
  • Serve as primary liaison between supply chain partners and internal stakeholders to communicate lead-times and costs.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate best landed price with primary and secondary vendors.
  • Analyze project schedules to determine on-site equipment delivery dates and ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate on-site start-up and commissioning support services from vendors.
  • Maintain complex project budgets and support invoicing, cash flow forecasts and budget reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to address client requests and design changes.
