Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Manager, Construction Procurement (Central Region) to lead OFCI equipment procurement across multiple data center construction projects. You will manage RFPs, bids, submittals, budgets and schedules, coordinating with Engineering, Operations and Legal to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role requires 2–5 years in construction procurement, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, travel up to 25%, and excellent negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in construction procurement or a similar role.
• Preferred experience in data center, heavy industrial, or MEP-intensive construction.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously drive equipment submittals from inception to completion.
• Manage electrical single-line diagrams, mechanical riser diagrams, and product specifications for multiple projects.
• Competitively bid and procure mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., MV switchgear, transformers, chillers, CRAHs, CRACs, PDUs, UPSs, gensets).
• Serve as primary liaison between supply chain partners and internal stakeholders; negotiate best landed prices.
• Analyze project schedules to determine on-site delivery dates and coordinate on-site startup/commissioning services.
