Job summary

PeoplesBank is seeking a Regional Community Development Partner to build relationships with nonprofits, municipalities, educational institutions, business leaders, and community stakeholders across the Hartford market. The role focuses on advancing CRA objectives, coordinating grants, and leading financial literacy programs.

The position is based in Hartford, CT and is hybrid, balancing office work with community engagement across the bank's footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Nonprofit Management, Finance or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and professional experience will be considered.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations, municipalities, community stakeholders, and civic organizations preferred.
• Experience developing or facilitating financial literacy, workforce development, or community education programs preferred.
• Knowledge of CRA principles and community development activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advance CRA initiatives and community development objectives.
• Document and track services, volunteer activities, investments, grants, sponsorships and outreach for regulatory readiness.
• Gather data and prepare reports for CRA examinations and internal reporting.
• Manage regional grantmaking budgets and funding allocations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and program guidelines for community investments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, municipalities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and deliver financial literacy and financial wellness programming.
• Lead and coordinate community events, sponsorships, and outreach initiatives.
