Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. seeks a Regional Coding Manager to support middle revenue cycle functions, including client management, coding operations, quality compliance, and process improvement.

You will manage goals, objectives, and policies for regional hospital clients, requiring an active coding certification and healthcare revenue cycle experience. You will lead a team, drive performance reviews, and coordinate with quality assurance to improve coding quality while ensuring compliance and optimal patient

Qualifications

• Active coding certification through AHIMA or AAPC (RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC) is required.
• Healthcare revenue cycle management experience is required.
• Strong Excel reporting and data analysis skills are essential.
• Leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with team coaching and performance reviews is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor team performance to meet SLAs, provide guidance and support.
• Conduct daily/weekly coding performance reviews to meet KPIs and report barriers to leadership.
• Lead resolution of moderate to complex coding workflow issues and escalate barriers as needed.
• Collaborate with quality review to address coding quality and ensure staff compliance with standards.
