Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. seeks a Regional Coding Manager to lead hospital client coding operations, ensure SLAs, and drive performance and quality in regional revenue cycle functions. You will support coding teams with guidance, coaching, and policy execution.

Applicants must hold AHIMA/AAPC coding certification and healthcare revenue cycle experience. Base pay ranges from $65,000 to $116,747 per year, with a target annual bonus of 10%.

• Address moderate to complex coding workflow issues, lead resolution plans and escalate barriers as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality review team to address coding quality issues and implement improvement plans.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Regional Coding Manager :

• Ensure service level agreements are met by monitoring team performance, productivity, and quality targets and providin g ongoing guidance, coaching, and support
• Conduct daily and weekly coding performance reviews to meet KPIs, and identify and report barriers and defects to customers and leadership.
• Address moderate to complex coding workflow issues, lead project plans for resolution, and **escalate** key performance barriers as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality review team to address coding quality issues, implement improvement plans, and ensure staff compliance with performance standards.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC : RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC
• Medical coding experience in a healthcare setting where you gained knowledge of charge capture strategies, pricing modalities, payer contract knowledge, and patient accounting solutions
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
• Leadership experience in a healthcare revenue cycle management position where you held team meetings, provided ongoing coaching and feedback, and annual performance reviews

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $65,000.00 - $116,747.20 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
