Job summary

Gosiger is seeking a regional Sales Engineer to drive sales of Engineering Services through distributor networks and end-user customers. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing manufacturing process solutions, and delivering tailored proposals.

Travel up to 40% across the West Coast or Midwest to support revenue growth and market expansion. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus commission, with cross-functional collaboration and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• BS/BAS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of hands-on machine tool and machining process experience.
• Strong knowledge of machine programming, setup, metal cutting, tooling, fixtures/workholding, GD&T, CPK, and print interpretation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Fusion 360 or other 3D software preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, documentation, and project management skills.
• Must reside in or relocate to assigned region and be willing to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Qualify opportunities and gather technical requirements with customers and distributors.
• Develop engineering proposals and process recommendations.
• Drive sales growth by meeting/exceeding sales goals, negotiating terms, supporting collections, and managing expenses.
• Maintain relationships with distributors, suppliers, customers, and prospects.
• Coordinate customer visits, meetings, training sessions, and showroom presentations.
• Utilize CRM and SharePoint to forecast and track activity.
• Support project life cycle from discovery to delivery.
• Ensure compliance with sales processes.
