Job summary

Gosiger is seeking a seasoned sales-focused engineer to drive engineering services through distributor networks and end-user customers. You will identify opportunities, develop manufacturing process solutions, and create customer proposals while collaborating with technical, operations, sales, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BAS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years hands-on machine tool and machining process experience.
• Strong knowledge of machine programming, setup, metal cutting, tooling, fixtures/workholding, GD&T, CPK, and print interpretation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Fusion 360 or other 3D software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, engineering services, technical capabilities, and competitive technologies.
• Serve as primary customer contact to qualify opportunities, assess needs/budgets, gather requirements, and develop proposals.
• Drive sales growth by meeting/exceeding goals, negotiating terms, supporting collections, and managing expenses.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, suppliers, customers, and prospects.
• Coordinate customer visits, meetings, training sessions, and showroom presentations.
• Utilize CRM and SharePoint tools to manage accounts, forecast business, and maintain records.
