Job summary

ARMADA is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to oversee regional distribution activities and ensure daily business needs are met. You will manage inbound/outbound flows, coordinate with DCs and HUBs, and drive KPI-based improvements across the network.

You will collaborate with Finance and Supply Planning, handle stockouts, and optimize inventory while maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in customer service or transportation – operations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation or Logistics preferred
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Business
• Experience with Customer Service or Transportation including LTL, Intermodal, temp controlled, and dry truckload is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the region’s Distribution Centers and resolve DC issues by auditing requirements.
• Direct sales order management for all stakeholders including promotions planning and returns.
• Identify stock-out situations and coordinate with DCs with resolution timelines.
• Direct stock-out management and storage for Hub items; communicate new item requests and promotions.
• Coordinate with Supply Planning, DCs, and HUBs to manage inventory processes.
• Work with Finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Identify improvement opportunities via KPIs to optimize network DCs and carriers.
• Manage first response to service issues and escalate as needed with corrective actions.
• Coordinate return disposition of refused/returned goods as required.
• Provide coverage for other SCCs during absences.
• Attend special projects as assigned by Manager of Customer Service.
• Be proficient in SOPs and the Business Continuity Plan.
