Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in New York to lead and develop a high-performing Cardiovascular Sales team. You will translate national strategies into localized business plans and coach field teams.

You will recruit, educate physicians and accounts, manage territory performance, and collaborate with FRMs, marketing, and compliance. Travel up to 60% is required and base salary ranges $175,000–$185,000 with potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years first-line sales leadership experience in pharma/biopharma.
• Cardiovascular/Cardiometabolic experience preferred.
• Experience with market access/reimbursement preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly.
• Proven track record leading successful sales teams in competitive environments.
• Proficiency with CRM, AI tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Translate Strategy to Execution: formulate region-level business plans from national/area strategies.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: analyze market data, sales trends, KPIs to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead CSR team to educate physicians and accounts to achieve business goals.
• Direct CSRs in acquisition, expansion and retention in the territory.
• Engage and cultivate key accounts to support business objectives.
• Field Coaching & Mentorship: provide real-time feedback to elevate skills.
• Attract, coach and retain top performers in selling, accounts, compliance.
• Territory Management: optimize geographic territory, budget, performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with FRMs, TLLs, marketing, training, compliance, medical affairs.
• Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory policies.
