Job summary

Airgas is seeking a New Business Development Representative - Bulk Sales Specialist in the Montgomery, AL area to drive growth for bulk gas products and on-site generators. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers, delivering technical guidance and sales support across a defined territory.

The role emphasizes relationship building, solution selling, and market data collection to support pricing and contract renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of prior technical solution driven sales experience within the bulk gas field preferred.
• 4 years of prior bulk gas industry experience.
• Demonstrated relationship management and consultative aptitude with ability to problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by supporting branch and outside sales to facilitate bulk gas/products in the assigned territory.
• Coordinate customer installations, site surveys and quotes, identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with branch managers and sales teams to promote Airgas initiatives.
• Provide technical knowledge to match customer needs with Airgas products and services.
• Initiate customer calls and provide product training, engineering and technical support.
