The American Red Cross seeks a Fixed Site Collections Manager to lead fixed collection sites in the Kansas-Oklahoma region, overseeing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving production of blood products. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in science is a plus
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Biomedical experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, group dynamics, customer maintenance, negotiation skills, and project management preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Ability to work independently while developing a functioning team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including training and presentations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
• A current, valid driver’s license and a good driving record is required
• Ideal candidate will reside in or near Indianapolis or Fort Wayne to support the business

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor assigned collections budget to ensure sufficient capacity and effective utilization of resources
• Oversee mobile operations and coordinate with multiple departments to achieve collection goals and quality metrics
• Monitor donor flow and customer service in collaboration with Donor Recruitment to improve donor experience
• Coach and mentor supervisors and staff; manage evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employment decisions
• Ensure staffing, training and protocols to meet patient needs and ensure efficient operations
• Operate ARC vehicles as required and manage equipment setup and teardown
• Ensure effective internal and external communication to foster teamwork
• Participate in divisional and national projects
• Travel 25-30% to Tulsa, Salina, or Wichita sites and possibly others
