Job summary

Lifeshare Blood Center in Texarkana, TX is seeking an Assistant Director to drive tactical implementation of the region’s strategic goals and oversee donor recruitment and blood collection operations.

The role focuses on managing resources, ensuring compliance with quality, payroll, budgets, and CGMP guidelines, and supporting the Regional Director. A 2-year degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are preferred, with strong leadership and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in business or related field required.
• At least three years of relevant work experience, preferably in blood banking.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs execution of the region’s tactical plans and monitors collection goals.
• Coordinates with Fleet to optimize resources and equipment operability.
• Ensures maintenance of blood collection equipment and MCVs.
• Performs monthly safety inspections and documents corrective actions.
• Assists Regional Director with donor recruitment and budget oversight.
