Job summary

The Ōnin Group is seeking an Area Business Development Manager to grow our market presence and drive revenue through new client partnerships. You will work closely with branch teams to deliver staffing solutions and represent Ōnin in local communities.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of outside sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset for fast-paced environments. Prior exposure to manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business across a variety of industries and company sizes.
• Conduct door knocks, cold calls, and client meetings to meet weekly activity goals.
• Build and manage a diverse, strategic prospect list.
• Create and maintain strong client partnerships that support long-term success.
• Collaborate daily with branch leaders on sales strategy and performance.
• Represent Ōnin in the community through networking and outreach efforts.
