Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services seeks an experienced Account Coordinator to lead a regional Billing Office and own revenue cycle performance across a state or region. You will oversee Nursing Home Billing, Private Insurance/Medicaid, QA/Documentation, and CMN workflows, driving third-party reimbursement and billing accuracy.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, and strong KPI management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue management.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
• Leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience.
• Experience managing KPIs and employee performance.
• Nursing home or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
• Brightree experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a regional Billing Office team.
• Become the billing and reimbursement expert for your state/region.
• Manage Nursing Home Billing, Private Insurance/Medicaid, QA, and CMN workflows.
• Drive third-party billing performance.
• Monitor revenue, adjustments, AR, aging, documentation, and billing accuracy.
• Establish employee productivity and quality expectations.
• Coach, train, and performance manage team members.
• Identify backlogs and problems before they impact customers or month-end.
• Build relationships direct with nursing home customers.
• Ensure customer concerns receive timely response and final resolution.
• Partner closely with Sales and Operations.
• Review high-risk accounts and invoices.
• Identify residents who may qualify for third-party reimbursement and ensure the team actively works those opportunities.
• Create structure, accountability, and measurable improvement within your assigned region.
