Job summary

Northeast Community Clinic seeks a Billing Manager to oversee the Billing Department, supervise staff, and ensure accurate processing of medical claims across multiple funding sources. You will review claims for completeness, fix errors, and monitor encounter data submission to plans.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel between facilities on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare/finance.
• Minimum three years’ experience in medical billing and coding.
• At least one year as Medical Billing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Billing Department staff including supervisor and leads.
• Review claims for completeness and correct errors.
• Monitor submission of encounter data to health plans.
• Review denials, correct, and resubmit within 30 days.
• Generate weekly revenue reports and liaise with management.
• Travel as required to facilities for site visits and audits.
