Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Excelsior program in South Florida is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead small group and specialty sales, recruit brokers, drive business, and meet sales goals while managing office staff.

The role requires frequent in-field activity (51%+), remote work flexibility in South Florida, and close collaboration with carrier partners to execute strategic sales plans across product lines.

Qualifications

• Sales license maintained or obtained as required by state law
• Existing broker/consultant relationships in the marketplace
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals

Responsibilities

• Promote Excelsior's product portfolio to benefits brokers and help them increase enrollment and average case size across product lines
• Negotiate and close sales
• Conduct in-depth market presentations for brokers and employers
• Create and drive strategies for top agencies and brokers
• Collaborate with Sales Management on pipeline, objectives, and competitive strategies
• Educate sales support on quoting plans and pre-implementation
• Be in the field 51% or more of the time
• Build relationships with carrier partners through collaboration and product knowledge
