Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Special Education team serving Grades K-12 across multiple sites in Nebraska. The role focuses on assessments, behavior intervention plans, staff training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will lead FBA/FBAs, develop BIPs aligned with district guidelines, monitor progress with instructional teams, and support campuses regionally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis or related field.
• Licensed or in the process of obtaining BCBA credential.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.
• Valid NE state driver’s license.
• Experience implementing ABA, PBIS, FBA, and BIPs in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs for designated schools to identify behavior functions.
• Create and implement BIPs aligned with ChanceLight standards and district guidelines.
• Support development of measurable IEP goals and monitor progress with on-site staff.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes in academics, social, emotional, and independence.
• Provide crisis management for students with aggressive or self-injurious behavior and reduce 1:1 staffing where possible.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to collect data and adjust interventions.
• Train on behavioral assessment, intervention, and crisis management for on-site teams.
• Supervise staff pursuing BACB certification as agreed with leadership.
• Support campus improvement plans to enhance student performance.
