Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a District Production Manager to oversee sanitation, packaging, and displays, ensuring top quality across the region. You will lead and mentor staff, uphold sanitary standards, and drive continuous improvement to deliver bakery excellence.

This role requires deep knowledge of food production, sanitation, and QA programs. You will travel to corporate and franchise locations as needed, manage costs, and report to the Production Team Leader in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial

Qualifications

• Educational background in Confectionery/Foods or culinary-related training.
• Minimum of 5 years bakery/café production experience.
• Knowledge of food production processes, sanitation, and quality programs.
• Knowledge of food production techniques, microbiology, and sanitary safety practices.
• GMP, HACCP, ISO 9000, baking regulations knowledge.
• Root cause analysis and project management skills.
• Strong people leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent organization and communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Emotional intelligence and teamwork focus.
• Brand ambassador with Paris Baguette culture.
• Willingness to travel to corporate/franchise locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire store staffs in a region.
• Recruit and hire staff for any open position at stores.
• Plan, direct, and manage time and schedule of production staffs of stores.
• Train and educate employees on quality, sanitation and production techniques.
• Set purchasing planning.
• Check and improve the process and facility.
• Evaluate sanitary compliance by staff in factory/store.
• Evaluate sanitary level in factory/store.
• Monitor and enforce local sanitation laws and regulations.
• Monitor Health Inspection standards compliance.
• Identify and address unsuitable sanitation conditions.
• Collaborate with production field manager on sanitary improvements.
• Assess sanitary improvement activities and provide feedback.
• Evaluate product quality produced in stores.
• Provide training enhancements.
• Prepare reports on new product launches.
• New product training.
• Periodic reports to production team leader (daily/weekly).
• Report defects in products.
• Calculate and report product costs.
• Manage personnel expenses of production staff.
• Other duties may be assigned.
