Job summary

Paris Baguette North America is seeking a District Production Manager to lead sanitation, packaging monitoring and displays, ensuring top quality products for customers. You will mentor staff to uphold customer satisfaction and apply deep knowledge of food production techniques and safety.

The ideal candidate leads with strong organizational and communication skills, fosters a high-performance culture, and is willing to travel to corporate and franchise locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Educational background as a Confectionery/Foods major with 6+ months of culinary school training.
• Minimum 5 years of bakery/café experience or similar production leadership.
• Knowledge of food production processes, sanitation and quality programs.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, microbiology and sanitary procedures.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO 9000 and baking regulatory knowledge.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Dynamic, empathetic leader who can empower and develop teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for fast-paced environments.
• Team player with brand ambassador mindset and travel readiness.
• Ability to travel to corporate and franchise locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise regional store staff and production teams.
• Recruit, hire and train staff for open positions.
• Direct and manage production schedules for stores.
• Educate staff on quality, sanitation and baking techniques.
• Set purchasing planning and monitor costs.
• Audit sanitation and product quality; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate sanitary practices and product quality across locations.
• Ensure adherence to local sanitation laws and regs.
• Monitor Health Inspection standards compliance.
• Collaborate with production field manager on sanitation improvements.
• Prepare reports on new product launches and training.
• Generate daily/weekly activity reports to leadership.
• Report defects and monitor product costs.
