Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Territory Associate Relations manager to guide regional leaders on labor trends and policy application, ensuring fair and consistent practices across stores.

You will analyze AR data, lead investigations with cross-functional teams, and develop training and preventative strategies. The role requires deep knowledge of employment law, multi-site experience, and strong leadership, with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Advanced degree in law, employee relations, or human resources preferred.
• Experience with multi-site operations (50+ locations) and 10,000 associates preferred.
• 8 years of employment law, employee relations, or HR experience preferred.
• PHR or SPHR or equivalent certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to regional leaders on labor and employment trends and associate relations needs to ensure creation and maintenance of a positive associate relations environment
• Guides interpretation and consistent application of Company policies, programs and initiatives across regions
• Analyzes regional/district/store AR data to identify activity and trends; develops and follows up on AR action plans
• Monitors labor relations activity in the region with guidance from SSC - Associate Relations team
• Develops preventative strategies and education on union avoidance and handles union-related matters
• Assists in developing game plans for EOC surveys, town halls, and labor activity
• Supports SSC on investigations and claims with Medical Health Management, Legal and Asset Protection
• Conducts training for management on legal and AR/labor relations matters
• Works with Government Compliance on diversity reporting, OFCCP audits, I-9, and compensation reviews
• Assists reviewing Performance Improvement Plans for Store Managers for fairness and consistency
