Job summary

Friends of the Israel Defense Forces seeks an Associate Director of Operations for New England to drive donor engagement and growth. You will partner with the Executive Director to implement strategic plans, oversee stewardship, and coordinate major events across New England.

The role requires a results-driven professional skilled in CRM usage, relationship building, and program management, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fundraising, stewardship and event coordination.
• Proven ability to build relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nonprofit management, fundraising or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic plan implementation for annual goals.
• Oversee donor stewardship, including recognition and communications.
• Coordinate and execute chapter events across New England, including Soldier Tribute.
• Manage team initiatives and support regional Board operations.
• Occasional evening or weekend programming.
