Job summary

FIDF is seeking an Associate Director of Operations for New England to advance donor engagement, stewardship, and regional growth across Boston and the broader New England area. The role collaborates with the Executive Director to implement strategic plans and oversee events, fundraising campaigns, and board initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in fundraising, strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication, and proficiency with CRM tools, including Raiser's Edge;

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fundraising, stewardship and event coordination.
• Proven ability to build and maintain donor relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nonprofit management or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Commitment to integrity, ethics, and discretion.
• High-level proficiency with fundraising software and Microsoft Office; Raiser's Edge a plus.
• Familiarity with the New England community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Executive Director on strategic plan implementation for achievement of chapter’s annual objectives and fundraising goals.
• Oversee donor stewardship, including donor recognition and marketing/communications.
• Coordinate and execute chapter events across New England including annual Soldier Tribute.
• Manage team initiatives and assist with regional Board operations.
• Occasional evening/weekend programming.
