Job summary

Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) Western Region is seeking an Events and Operations Associate to plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and donor engagement events across the Western Region. The role supports day-to-day administrative and operational needs, maintaining efficient systems, processes, communications, and logistics for the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in event planning, operations, or a similar role, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong project coordination and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Regional and local travel is required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution of FIDF fundraising events across the Western Region.
• Maintain event checklists, task lists, and production schedules to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Develop and maintain event planning documents (run-of-show, schedules, floor plans, guest lists).
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-up items with stakeholders.
• Provide on-site support, vendor coordination, and post-event reconciliation.
