Eaton's North American Sales Division is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join its Industrial team. The role can be based in Bakersfield, CA, City of Industry, CA, Fresno, CA, Pleasanton, CA, Roseville, CA, or San Diego, CA, and leads a district sales organization, managing customers, products, sales resources and distribution channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ electrical industry sales/marketing and/or engineering experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Residence within 50 miles of Bakersfield, City of Industry, Fresno, Pleasanton, Roseville or San Diego, CA.
• No immigration sponsorship or work visa support.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned customer base and local market to increase sales.
• Provide application guidance and technical assistance to customers.
• Lead California-based sales engineers, channel and agency representatives.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profit margin and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare bids and quotations following company pricing and delivery guidelines.
• Maintain reports, order tracking, and improve sales forecasting.
