Colorado School of Mines invites applications for Regional Admissions Counselor roles based in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina, with remote work from a home office and periodic travel to Golden, CO for training.

You will build relationships with students, families, school counselors, and organizations, manage recruitment plans, and help achieve enrollment goals while supporting both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in college admissions, student services, customer service, or sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• A positive attitude and independent work ethic.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned region for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Preferred: regional recruiter/admissions counselor experience.
• Preferred: data-informed decision making and admissions experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of STEM recruitment strategies; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and outreach to prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners.
• Provide admission counseling and information to students and families.
• Plan, organize, and attend recruitment events including evenings and weekends.
• Identify visits and fairs; represent Mines at events.
• Develop relationships with school counselors and educational organizations.
• Coordinate with the campus Admissions Office for strategic initiatives.
• Attend training and signature recruiting events.
