Job summary

Elon University is seeking a Regional Assistant Director of Admissions- Florida to lead undergraduate recruitment for Florida and manage adjacent territories. The role is remote-based, 11-month regional, and requires extensive travel to high schools, college fairs, and events within Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in regional admissions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a virtual

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; two years' experience in regional admissions, recruitment and/or marketing; three to five years preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; interpersonal and public speaking experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to cover assigned territory and visit campus; ability to work remote/virtually.

Responsibilities

• Travel: conduct information sessions, attend college fairs, visit campuses and partner schools.
• Territory management: develop recruitment strategies and coordinate travel for the Florida region and nearby territories.
• Application review: read and evaluate first-year applications and participate in admissions decisions.
