Colorado School of Mines is hiring Regional Admissions Counselors based in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. The role requires travel, relationship-building with students, families, counselors, and community groups, and meeting enrollment goals for undergrad and graduate programs.

The position is funded for an initial two-year term with evaluation for ongoing funding. Salary ranges from 58,000 to 62,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in college admissions, student services, customer service, or sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude and independent work ethic.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel regionally for extended periods.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and outreach across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, building relationships with students, families, counselors, and community organizations.
• Develop and implement regional recruitment plans and monitor enrollment objectives.
• Review admissions applications for regional applicants and advocate during second review.
• Attend and coordinate campus information sessions and recruitment events.
• Manage a budget for the region, including travel expenses and reimbursements.
