Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s Corrugated Packaging division seeks an Account Manager to grow the GP Sheets business in North and Central Texas. You will identify opportunities, manage key relationships, and execute the sales strategy in a self-driven, independent role.

The position requires travel up to 50% (mostly day trips) and offers a base salary, incentives, and a company vehicle. Join a strong sales team with extensive regional resources and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales or account management.
• Experience in corrugated packaging is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement value propositions that fuel the overall sales strategy for the GP Sheets business.
• Create value through increased volume, profitability, account acquisition, and innovative solutions, while anticipating customer needs and maximizing sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, driving growth within existing accounts and securing new business.
• Manage time effectively to meet and exceed expectations, working autonomously toward sales objectives.
• Partner with internal teams in production, quality, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely and satisfactory product delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights to refine future strategies.
